I've always loved the secretary desk; you sit down and you have everything at your fingertips to mail cards. You have the cards, envelopes, tags, stickers, pens, stamps, addresses, etc, etc. When I saw Jackie Topa's stationary set, I was so excited! Here is her link:

I had been dying to try it out, but knew I wouldn't have time before Christmas...until Kathy, my mother-in-law needed a last-minute gift for a friend. Here is my creation. I had smaller cards on hand, so I divided off part of the back to add a small nook for a mini gel pen and some handmade stickers (my Xyron sticker maker is one of my favorite tools). I also added some additio
nal panels on the sides of the front for Notes and Dates. I had SO much fun putting this together!
The secretary was absolutely darling and accomodating! I gave it to my friend Shelly for a Christmas gift and she was delighted! She has it sitting on her dresser so that she can grab it and go. Although she likes the appearance and just gazes at it's elegance. Thanks Elin for coming through for me, again!
