This is so cool! At my last stamp camp we made this scratch & sniff card. It's actually really simple - just mix 1 teaspoon of clear embossing powder with 1 1/2 teaspoons of a sugarfree drink mix, like Kool-Aid. The sugarfree is super important; if it has sugar in it it will turn brown with the heat.
When exposed to the heat, the embossing powder melts like normal, but the drink mix remains largely unchanged giving it a unique glossy yet frozen look. And, of course, the drink mix makes it smell pretty. :)
I understand you can do the same with unsweetened cocoa and instant coffee.
