This is a small piece of one of the big projects I have been working on, When done, it is going to be a huge paper bouquet featuring several different types of flowers.
I chose to use huge, 3.5" scalloped circles to make my carnations. In order to get the fullness I wanted, I stacked 16 of them (all punched from scraps in the pink drawer of my scrap bins) and crumpled them around a central button threaded with floral wire.
They are soooo beautiful!
