May 31, 2011: Hello Blossoms

Pin It Now!
I needed a quick "thank you" for the hostess of my upline's most recent Stamper's 10 Club. I really appreciate that I am still able to attend, since I am technically not in the club anymore. :)

My brand new Summer Mini Catalog order was still on my desk, so I wanted to use Hello Blossoms, one of the most adorable a la carte stamps to come in quite some time! I stamped it in Pink Pirouette on Very Vanilla, then stamped it again on a scrap piece in Regal Rose. I used one of the eyes on the Two Step Owl Punch to punch out just the letters in the center of the flowers, then popped them up on tiny snips of Stampin' Dimensionals.

Both my focal image and the center panel are sponged in Basic Black; the focal image is just swiped across the ink pad and I used a Sponge Dauber on the center panel.

Doesn't the 1 1/4" Striped Grosgrain Ribbon in Basic Black look amazing and rich on this card? I love this stuff! The tiny Mini Vintage Tag was the perfect touch, and I love that the "4 You" from Tiny Tags fit perfectly, stamped in Basic Black.

The base card is embossed with the Framed Tulips Textured Impressions Embossing Folder Die and the Big Shot. If you don't have a Big Shot yet, it's a must have!

The final touch was the little line of flowers from the Hostess Level 1 Set Because I Care. I am so in love with this set, and I am sad that it will be gone forever at the end of June. :( It's so amazingly pretty and can be both formal and casual! I'm keeping MY set, of course - forever and ever! If you want one of your own act fast - it can be yours for FREE with an order totaling $150 (excluding tax and shipping), OR you can book a workshop totaling the same. Either way, you will get Because I Care in wood or clear, PLUS at least $15 in free products! How's that for a deal? :) The only catch is you have to act fast!

Tomorrow is the day we are all waiting for...last chance lists!!! And, of course, as a demo I get a sneaky peek at the new catalog. :) I'm so beyond super excited, even though I know some of my favorites could be retired. Here are my predictions (or maybe just hopes!):

Retiring:

Circle Circus
Hand Knit
Christ is Born
Priceless
Bugs & Kisses

New:

Serene Snowflakes replaced with a more realistic, elegant set for my December ornament class
Heart shaped Simply Adorned pendant that fits the Full Heart Punch.
New clock face set
Realistic sets with vintage cars, trucks, etc...and a VW Bug!!!
New realistic horse set (I grew up raising horses on a ranch, so I'm picky)

Returning:

French Foliage
Nature Walk
Adornments Rosettes in more colors

Safe:

Lovely as a Tree
Sense of Time
Word Play
Elements of Style
Scenic Season
Puns from the Past

Cross your fingers!!! I'll share the list as soon as I have it in my hot little hands. I'm pleased to report that THANKS TO ALL OF YOU I earned a free any price stamp set during Sale a Bration in February...and I've been saving it. My favorite new stamp set in the new catalog will be coming to live with me - all for free! Now that's a perk - sign up to be a demo and you could get those perks, too!!

I'm off to work - I'll be watching for the list!

  1. Very nice card! Love the colors!
Where did you get the stand to display your cards on? I notice a lot of bloggers have something similar.
