Veterans day has always been about so much more than a day off from work, and I think we all need to remember that. Today, I'm praying for not only our veterans, but our soldiers as well (as I do every day). It's a day to honor and remember!
I don't have a patriotic card to share today, but I do have this sympathy card that I made on commission recently. I embossed the cream background with a newer Sizzix folder that I just love, and mounted it on a rectangle of Pale Plum. I stamped an older SU stamp, For You, and colored it in with Marvy brush markers. Then I added a silver gossamer ribbon. The other violet image is also SU, from Flower of the Month (I just didn't color in the wording). Pretty, sweet and respectful. :)
