The attack on Pearl Harbor happened many years before I was born, but I can still remember my Grandfather talking about his experiences in the war. Pearl Harbor effected him greatly, he said; so much so that he moved to Maui when he was retired to be able to live close. He was a pilot, I know, but what his role was that day I'm not sure. He didn't like to talk about it much.He has been gone for several years now, but this is the day I remember him best.
