I was surprised to find this photo...these are actually some of the very, very first cards I ever made. This was from my pre-scrapbooking days, when my craft of choice was actually decorative painting. (Are you surprised?!?!?) I was a self-taught student of Donna Dewberry in my college days. :) Mostly I painted wood items (like TV trays) and pasteboard boxes, although I did some flower paintings, picture frames, and canvases. I'll see if I can dredge up some more photos of some of my work. I enjoyed it very much, and I do think it is a useful thing to have in one's repertoire.
