September 14, 2011: Wisteria Wonder by Corinna

Pin It Now! First off - HUGE happy birthday to my one and only little niece, Mia!!

I am so happy that Stampin' Up! brought light purple back this year with the new In-Color Wisteria Wonder - and this beautiful swap card by Corinna shows it off to perfection!

Corinna took a base of Wisteria Wonder Cardstock and mounted Whisper White on top, embossed with the Square Lattice Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. Embossing is such a rich detail, but because it is tone on tone it doesn't get busy or compete with embellishments. Love it!

The strip on the bottom is Wisteria Wonder Cardstock punched with the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch and topped with a Wide Oval Punchie of Wisteria Wonder. The sentiment is from Oval All stamped in Wisteria Wonder Classic Ink on Whisper White, punched out with the Scalloped Oval Punch.

For the focal image, Corinna punched a square of Wisteria Wonder Cardstock on each side with the Scalloped Dots Edge Punch, and added a Basic Rhinestone to each corner. For the center, she took Whisper White Cardstock and punched it out with the Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch and added an Ice Circle Rhinestone Brad in the middle.

I love cards with two colors - you can really add more layers and embellishments where a third color would be too much. Beautiful job, Corinna!
